Google Maps

The Google Maps integration adds map and address features where they are supported by the active service configuration.

Configure the integration

  1. Create a Google Maps Platform API key in a dedicated Google Cloud project.
  2. Enable the APIs required by the features shown in the integration panel, including Maps JavaScript and Places where applicable.
  3. Restrict browser use to the production and staging site origins.
  4. Restrict the key to the enabled APIs.
  5. Enter the key under Settings > Integrations > Google Maps.
  6. Enable the integration flag and test service addresses on the frontend.

Do not use an unrestricted key. Google may require billing for Maps Platform even when usage remains within a free allowance.

When address lookup fails, verify the integration flag, allowed referrers, enabled APIs, billing status, and browser console before regenerating the key.
