Personal service settings

When providers are enabled, administrators can delegate selected service settings. A delegated setting can then have a provider-specific value.

Only settings marked as delegable in the current interface support provider overrides.

Service-scoped settings

These scheduling values are defined once per service and are not delegated:

  • slot duration;
  • buffer duration;
  • buffer rule.

Provider-specific examples

Opening and closing lead times and supported notification or calendar preferences may be provider-specific when exposed by the current service settings panel.

  1. Configure the service default.
  2. Delegate only settings that genuinely vary by provider.
  3. Review each provider's personal service section.
  1. Inspect generated availability after changing scheduling restrictions.

Avoid delegating settings merely to duplicate the service default; it increases configuration complexity without changing behavior.
