Connect a Google Account

Complete the Google project setup, then:

  1. Open Availability > Calendars.
  2. Select Connect account.
  3. Sign in to Google and grant the requested Calendar permissions.
  4. Back in WordPress, the account appears with its calendars listed but none added yet. Use Add calendar to pick which ones TheBooking can use.

Adding a calendar only makes it available for use. Its role — source, blocking, or destination — is chosen separately inside each availability plan; see Providing availability, Block availability, and Create events after reservation.

Do not bypass an unverified-app warning for production users. Keep the application in testing with explicit test users, or complete the Google publication requirements appropriate to your deployment.

Provider ownership

An account may be managed by administrators or assigned to a provider. Provider-owned calendars are available only to plans and reservations in that provider's scope.

When providers can connect their own accounts, limit that permission to trusted WordPress roles. Removing an account also removes its calendars from source, personal, and destination assignments.

See Provider and sub-team scoping for multi-provider behavior.
